This is one of our favorite Houston restaurants. Great location and great parking. My all time go-to favorite dish is the Cedar Plank Salmon. We enjoy sitting at the bar to dine. We especially enjoy dining here when Michael and/or Alex are tending the bar.
Great food. Catfish is delicious. Dine in and to go service is great. I prefer take out or patio seating because some it's too much smoke from the grill.
I've only ordered to go from here but the blackened chicken pasta and the Pecan crusted chicken are 10/10's! I will definitely be ordering from here again.
This little neighborhood gem is one of my favorite places in Houston. The ambience is comfortable, and the staff are professional and welcoming. The food is made to order and it is delicious.
This gem has been thriving for 25 years! Long ago when I lived in the area, it was always a treat to dine with girlfriends and catch up. It's been many years, but I stopped in and was so happy to know this place is still amazing. I shared the tower of rings with my husband and wow! It was a stack of about five large, graduated in size onion rings that were hand breaded and yummy! It also had three poblano peppers that were fried. Oh my gosh! Brilliant. It came with a spicy chipotle dip. Salmon was grilled to perfection and not swimming in butter. I did not add any seasoning - it was perfect. Herbed rice and sautéed spinach completed my meal. Again, all was perfect! Being on weight watchers, I'm always looking for ways to eat healthy while not being deprived and thus fit the bill. My husband had the burger and fries. No complaints! Our server was attentive and knew the menu and was able to offer suggestions. I wish I lived closer to The Raven. It will always be a welcoming place. It's low key casual but top notch tasty! PS: Picnic is on the opposite end of strip and the best place for a quick pick-up! Owned by Raven and will not disappoint. Great for littles!
We had a good takeout dinner from Raven Grill--I really liked my salmon salad, and the molten chocolate cake (kind of a combo of souffle and brownie) was great. My friends liked their enchiladas too. Solid choice!
